KinetiCode® methodology bridges the holistic Pilates knowledge with Functional Movement research, Kinesiology and Biomechanics Science. THE FOUNDER OF K/C MOVE, MARGHERITA BENCINI
Margherita is a movement specialist and the founder of the KinetiCode® Methodology. For over 20 years, she pursued a career as a professional dancer and choreographer for companies in Europe and the United States. During her dance career, she completed various university studies on Semiotics of Movement and Movement Science in Italy and the United States. With the goal of enhancing the peak performance of dancers and athletes, Margherita, along with an international team, developed the KinetiCode® method in 2007. Nowadays, she mentors throughout the EU with her KinetiCode® Academy and directs K/C Move Studio in multiple locations in Amsterdam, the boutique fitness studio concept based on her methodology.
Margherita was a senior faculty member of B.A.S.I. Pilates (Body Art and Science International) and holds a Gyrotonic Level 2 teaching certification. She is certified as a personal trainer by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and has specialized in EXOS (Athletes Performance Institute), DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization), SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment), and the S. McGill method.
