K/C Move Academy respects your privacy and handles personal data with due care. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

1. Company details

Kineticode B.V. is a private limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands, having its corporate seat in Amsterdam and its office at Rozengracht 93A, 1016 LT Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Kineticode B.V. is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 70370079.

Kineticode B.V. trades as K/C Move Academy and KinetiCode® Academy and is the controller for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with K/C Move Academy, we may collect the following personal data:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • phone number;
  • address and billing details;
  • country of residence;
  • payment status and transaction information;
  • account and login details for the Academy Website, Student Portal or learning platform;
  • purchases, enrolments, Course access, module progress and attendance;
  • Certification Program, exam, assignment, assessment and completion information;
  • submitted homework, exam answers, practical video submissions, teaching videos, written assignments and related feedback;
  • communication with us by email, phone, contact form, social media, Student Portal, learning platform or in person;
  • information you voluntarily share about injury, illness, pregnancy, physical limitations or other health-related circumstances relevant to safe participation;
  • information needed to assess a refund, transfer, extension, eligibility or certification request;
  • photos, videos, recordings, voice, image, questions, comments or participation where you attend recorded Live Sessions or where you have given consent for promotional use;
  • website and technical data, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, cookie identifiers and interaction data.

We do not intentionally collect more personal data than necessary for the relevant purpose.

3. How we collect personal data

We may collect personal data when you:

  • visit the Academy Website;
  • create an account;
  • purchase a Product;
  • enrol in a Course or Certification Program;
  • access the Student Portal or Course Materials;
  • attend a Live Session, mentor review, workshop or exam;
  • submit homework, assignments, exams or practical videos;
  • subscribe to a newsletter or request course information;
  • contact us;
  • complete a form;
  • interact with our social media pages;
  • participate in a recorded session, photo shoot or video shoot;
  • request support, refund, transfer, extension, access renewal or certification review.

We may also receive personal data from third-party service providers that help us operate our services, such as payment providers, email platforms, learning platforms, analytics tools, advertising platforms, video platforms or website service providers.

4. Purposes of processing

K/C Move Academy processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • to create and manage Student accounts;
  • to process purchases, enrolments, payments, invoices and payment plans;
  • to provide Courses, Certification Programs, Course Materials, Live Sessions, mentor reviews, workshops, exams and related services;
  • to manage Student access, module progress, attendance, homework, assessments, exam submissions, feedback and certification status;
  • to communicate about Course access, lecture dates, recordings, schedule changes, payments, account matters, service updates or student support;
  • to assess eligibility, refund, transfer, extension, access renewal or certification requests;
  • to support safe participation in practical components where the Student has shared relevant health or physical information;
  • to record and share educational sessions with enrolled Students where appropriate;
  • to send newsletters, offers, course updates and marketing communications where permitted;
  • to improve the Academy Website, Student Portal, Course Materials, services and Student experience;
  • to analyse website use, campaign performance and business performance;
  • to prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorised access, intellectual property infringement, security incidents and payment issues;
  • to comply with legal, tax, accounting and administrative obligations;
  • to handle complaints, disputes and legal claims.

5. Legal bases

K/C Move Academy processes personal data only where there is a legal basis under applicable privacy law. Depending on the situation, the legal basis may be:

Performance of an agreement: where processing is necessary to provide a Product or service requested or purchased by the Student, including Course access, payments, exams, certification and student support.

Legal obligation: where K/C Move Academy is required to process or retain data for tax, accounting, legal or regulatory reasons.

Legitimate interest: where processing is necessary for normal business operations, student communication, service improvement, platform security, fraud prevention, intellectual property protection, basic analytics or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, provided that the Student’s privacy interests do not override K/C Move Academy’s interest.

Consent: where the Student subscribes to marketing, accepts non-essential cookies, agrees to appear in promotional photos or videos, or provides certain health-related information where consent is required.

The Student may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before consent was withdrawn

6. Health-related information

Movement education and Pilates training may involve physical activity. Students may voluntarily share information about injuries, illness, pregnancy or other physical limitations.

K/C Move Academy uses this information only to support safe participation, adapt exercises where possible, assess participation or extension requests, respond to emergencies or protect legal interests.

Students should not send detailed medical files unless K/C Move Academy specifically requests limited documentation for a relevant purpose.

Health-related information is treated with extra care and is accessible only where necessary.

7. Exam, assignment and certification data

K/C Move Academy may process exam answers, practical video submissions, teaching videos, homework, written assignments, assessment results, feedback, completion records and certification status.

This information is used to assess progress, determine whether certification requirements have been met, provide feedback, maintain educational records, handle retakes or appeals and protect the integrity of the certification process.

Practical videos and exam submissions may include the Student’s image, voice, movement, teaching practice and, where applicable, other participants included by the Student. The Student is responsible for ensuring that any person included in a submitted video has agreed to be recorded and submitted for assessment.

8. Recordings, photos and videos

K/C Move Academy may record online lectures, Live Sessions or educational sessions for educational, administrative or internal purposes.

Recordings may include a Student’s name, voice, image, questions, comments or participation if the Student actively participates in the recorded session.

Recordings may be made available to enrolled Students through the Student Portal or another secure platform for course-related purposes.

Students must not record, screenshot, photograph or film Courses, Live Sessions, exams, mentor reviews, teachers, trainers or other Students without prior written consent.

K/C Move Academy may use photos or videos for promotional purposes where permitted by law. Where required, K/C Move Academy will ask for consent before using clearly identifiable promotional photos or videos.

9. Newsletters and marketing

If you subscribe to the newsletter, request course information or otherwise consent to marketing, K/C Move Academy may send you news, updates, offers, educational content and course-related marketing by email.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting academy@kcmove.nl.

K/C Move Academy does not sell email addresses or personal data to third parties.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

The Academy Website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Some cookies are necessary for the Academy Website, account functions, student portal functions, course access, payments and security. These cookies do not require consent.

Other cookies, including analytics, marketing, media and tracking cookies, may require your consent. You can manage your preferences through the cookie banner or cookie settings on the Academy Website.

Cookies and related services may include essential website cookies, analytics tools, advertising tools, payment tools, email tools, video platforms, embedded media, learning platforms, form tools, security tools and other technical services used to operate and improve the Academy Website and Student Portal.

The exact cookies and third-party services may change over time. K/C Move Academy aims to keep the cookie information on the Academy Website up to date.

11. Third-party service providers

K/C Move Academy may share personal data with service providers that help us operate our business and provide our services, including:

  • website hosting, IT, security and maintenance providers;
  • learning platforms and student portal providers;
  • payment providers and banks;
  • email and newsletter platforms;
  • video hosting and streaming platforms;
  • analytics and advertising platforms;
  • form, pop-up, scheduling and communication tools;
  • accountants, legal advisers and other professional advisers;
  • teachers, trainers, mentors, examiners and assessors involved in the relevant Course or Certification Program;
  • public authorities where required by law.

These parties may process personal data only for the relevant service or where otherwise permitted by law.

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, K/C Move Academy aims to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

12. Retention periods

K/C Move Academy keeps personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

In general:

  • account, enrolment, course access and attendance data are kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards;
  • financial, invoice and tax records are kept for the period required under Dutch tax and accounting law;
  • exam, assignment, completion and certification records may be kept for a longer period where necessary to verify certification, handle retakes, answer student requests, protect educational standards or defend legal claims;
  • practical videos and submitted assignments are kept as long as necessary for assessment, feedback, retakes, certification administration, disputes or legal purposes;
  • customer service communications are kept as long as necessary to handle the request and protect legitimate interests;
  • newsletter data are kept until the Student unsubscribes or requests deletion;
  • cookie data are kept according to the cookie type and cookie settings;
  • health-related information is kept only as long as necessary for the relevant safety, participation, extension, dispute or legal purpose.

13. Security

K/C Move Academy takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you believe that your account, Course access or personal data has been compromised, please contact us immediately at academy@kcmove.nl.

14. Your rights

Under applicable privacy law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • request data portability;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

To exercise your rights, contact academy@kcmove.nl. K/C Move Academy may ask you to verify your identity before handling the request.

Some data cannot be deleted immediately if K/C Move Academy is legally required or has a legitimate reason to keep it, for example for tax, accounting, certification records, dispute handling, intellectual property protection or legal purposes.

15. Children

K/C Move Academy services are generally intended for adults and professional learners.

Students under 18 may enrol only with parent or guardian permission and K/C Move Academy approval, unless the relevant Course states otherwise.

K/C Move Academy does not knowingly collect personal data from children for marketing purposes without appropriate consent.

16. Links to third-party websites

The Academy Website and Student Portal may contain links to third-party websites, platforms or services. K/C Move Academy is not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of those third parties.

17. Complaints

If you have a privacy complaint, please contact K/C Move Academy first at academy@kcmove.nl so we can try to resolve the matter.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

18. Changes to this Privacy Policy

K/C Move Academy may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on the Academy Website with the date of the most recent update.

COURSE STRUCTURE

KINETICODE® PILATES CERTIFICATION

The KinetiCode® Pilates Certification follows a 7-month study cycle, designed for maximum flexibility. You can begin at the start of any month and progress at your own pace while completing all required coursework.

In total, the course includes:

  • 12 Live Lectures in 6 months, 6 hours each day (total of 72 hours)
  • Exercise Mentor Review min. 15 hours
  • Observation Practice min. 20 hours
  • Self Practice min. 30 hours
  • Physical Review min. 30 hours
  • Practice Teaching min. 20 hours
  • Home work/Theory studies min. 60 hours
  • Written Exam 2 hours
  • Certification Exam 1 hour

Total course time = 250 hours
